Cadet Nathan Dembeck graduated from the Great Lakes Division, NSCC and has accepted a position with Jean-Michel Cousteau's OCEAN FUTURES organization.
Nathan moved to California in January 2008. He is presently training in drysuit, mixed gas diving and rebreathers and will assist in filming the new Cousteau series by the end of the month.

Cousteau and Don Santi, superviser of dive operations, were impressed with Dembeck when he assisted the team for three days during the filming of the Ocean Adventures project, "Our National Treasures".
The research vessel "Pride of Michigan" hosted the Cousteau team for the
Great Lakes segment of that project which aired on PBS in 2006.
