The Pride of Michigan YP 673 is the training vessel of the Great Lakes Division , U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps.  For over 35 years, the use of such vessels has allowed youth to gain experience and knowledge in maritime practices and training together with diverse projects involving natural, theoretical and social sciences.

The ship was built in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin in 1979, as a traditional wood hull vessle for use by the U.S. Navy in such places as the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.  As she returned to the Great Lakes in 1989, she passed the World Trade Center and paused to allow her crew a closer look at one of America's best known landmarks.  This is the moment marine artist, Robert McGreevy has chosen to depict in his painting The Pride of Michigan.

The print is 16" x 20"  on heavy archival stock and is limited to 1000 copies.
This print will be given for a donation  of $100  to the  NOBLE ODYSSEY FOUNDATION.

Donations and grants received by the Noble Odyssey Foundation (NOF) are used to support maritime training and science programs, enabling youth to continue to experience such programs .
