25 May – 29 May 2018 (5 Day Training)

No SCUBA Qualification Required for the May Training
Lake St. Clair, St. Claire River, and Lake Huron
Embark: Harrison Township, MI
Disembark: Harrison Township, MI
Emergency First Aid Certification
Training in all aspects of ship operation; hands on experience
Drills: Man Overboard, Damage Control (collision), Fire Fighting,
Training in Engineering, Helm- Ship Handling, Navigation, Communications
Participation in Memorial Day Services Sunday and Monday

Open to 15 male cadets and 4 female cadets (female cadets will overnight ashore with escort)

Dive from the 81ft Navy Ship “Pride of Michigan”
Training in all aspects of ship operation; hands on experience
Drills: Man Overboard, Damage Control (collision), Fire Fighting, Training in Engineering, Helm-Ship Handling, Navigation, Communications

QUALIFICATIONS/PRE-REQUISITES:
​  
• E-2 or above and minimum 14 years of age, mature 
• Very good physical condition 
• Must be a certified diver unless otherwise indicated 
• Must fit within normal height to weight ratios

• Liability forms and medical forms will be sent to accepted applicants and must be signed by cadet and parent or guardian and returned by mail prior to the date the training begins. This applies to DIVER Training ONLY.
